Hand-Stamped Quality Guide
Remember, hand-stamped patches are not machine-perfect. I am not mass produced and everything is handmade through feralpunkx and sorted into these 2 categories by my own perception and judgements on quality. Sometimes that line is a little wibbly-wobbly, but I try to sort patches the best I can. Natural imperfections are expected with hand-stamped products, and here's what each category might look like:
Good Print Quality: Patches in this category are between A and B-grade prints. This means they have the least noticeable imperfections, or it's that the imperfections don't take away from the design. These can look like fuzzy borders, heavy or light ink, some jitter, etc.
Examples of A/B-graded prints:

Misprint Quality: Patches in this category are B-grade prints and lower. These are patches that don't look the best, but it is a cheaper alternative for those who don't mind more imperfections in their handmade patches. The imperfections on misprint qualities are vast, but can look like heavy smudging, extremely faint areas that take away from the design, major off-alignments, or generally funky ink behavior. The reason that misprints are discounted is because what you get is quite random in quality-- Sometimes you'll get a decent patch, and sometimes you'll get much lower quality. The only gaurantee you really have is that it will be under B-grade quality.
Misprint patches can be a fun way to get bundles of patches for cheaper. If you get misprints in your bundles that you don't want to use on clothing, other good ways to use them can be in scrap projects, patchwork, collaging or journaling, and experimental sewing. And if there's a patch you don't resonate with, consider giving it to a friend!
